Gullas in 1919 as the Visayan Institute (V.I.) in Cebu City. Undergoing many years of redevelopment and surviving a post war period, the University of the Visayas today boasts an eight-campus, province-wide delivery of higher education . UV GULLAS COLLEGE OF MEDICINE The Gullas College of Medicine of the University of the Visayas formally opened its doors in 1977, an objective to provide quality and relevant medical education that is oriented toward health and social needs of the country in general and the community in particular.
