AIIMS gives Major Boost for 2019 Admission, 400 MBBS Seats to be added at New, Existing AIIMS MBBS admission is the target for those who are dreaming about Doctor Career. After the implementation of the FMGE- the exam for the Medical Graduates, graduated from foreign countries (called as MCI screening test ) , the success ratio is quite low for those studied in Russia like countries. Language barrier, Too hard climate conditions , Lack of food-style etc makes our Indian students tired in such European countries too. So Philippines is the trending destination for all medical dreamers. And hence recently numerous students are getting transferred from Russia, China & all European Countries to UV Gullas College of Medicine , Cebu City, Philippines, once they got interacted with their friends whoever studied or studying at UV Gullas.

A response to a recent Right to Information (or RTI) application stated that the Medical Council of India (MCI) has issued 3, 386 more eligibility certificates to foreign medical aspirants in 2018 than in 2017, a rise of about 24%. The year before, the number had nearly doubled. The mandate of getting an eligibility certificate to study medicine abroad came into force only from January 2014 and ever since the numbers have been rising sharply every year. For Dr Abdul Mateen, who studied medicine in the Philippines in 2011, it was just a cheaper option than a private medical school in India. “Also, the spectrum of disease there, unlike in Russia, is very similar to the spectrum of disease in India, ” he says.
